Another Journal Entry March 16th 1934. John Dillinger's escape accomplice Herbert Youngblood was involved In a shootout in Port Huron. One policeman was killed 2 injured and Youngblood was shot and killed in the melee!

Steamer Charles Price sank Nov 9. 1913 in Lake Huron , another victim of the "White Hurricane" , the Great Lakes worst natural disaster which lasted from Nov. 7 to Nov. 11th. It destroyed 19 ships and resulted in 250 deaths.

Getting Ready for the Mackinaw Race
"The Bramble" doing sea trials February 2019. Possibly the last photo of the "Bramble under the Bluewater Bridge. Bramble left Port Huron area 3 days later. Was to traverse the Northwest Passage after undergoing repairs in dry dock.
Unfortunately the Bramble ended up being sold at a bankruptcy auction for $ 80,000 in December of 2019. Hopefully she will find another life somewhere else and not end up at the hot point of a cutting torch!
